What is the resistivity of transformer natural ester fluid?

2024-08-09

Transformer natural ester fluid typically have a resistivity greater than 1 x 10^12 Ω-m1. Resistivity is an important electrical property of insulating oils, and insulating oils with a high resistivity indicate a low number of free ion-forming ionic particles and a low concentration of conductive contaminants.
Note that resistivity may vary with temperature, typically decreasing with increasing temperature.2 Therefore, the effect of temperature on resistivity needs to be taken into account in practical applications.
In addition, natural ester fluid have other excellent properties, such as excellent insulating properties, high thermal stability, excellent environmental protection, good oxidation resistance and high flash point. These properties make natural ester fluid widely used in transformers.
